Master trainer Lomi: “I was about to give up everything”

No less than 48 years after the last league adventure, Partschins is back in the regional football upper house. The Lower Vinschgers were crowned regional league champions on Sunday and will be playing in the concert of the big boys from autumn. The architect of success was coach Luca Lomi, who shares a curious anecdote.

When referee Thioune Bamba blew his whistle three times shortly before 18 p.m. yesterday, Sunday, Partschins' celebration knew no bounds. Not even with coach Luca Lomi, who mutated into a party beast. The former professional footballer is the architect of success - even if this season had its turbulence.
