So far, it seems to be the tournament for the Paulsner youth players. On Tuesday, FC Taci, consisting of the B-youth players of FC St. Pauls, surprisingly qualified for the finals. Yesterday, the A-youth players followed suit. They compete under the name Paulsner Fuiertuifl and have been waiting for their big breakthrough on the Morktplotz. But now they won their group, which was better-contested than the next Christopher Nolan film. The young local heroes also left last year's third-place team, Moscardelli Party Army, far behind.Speaking of which: Martin Prantl's team had more trouble in the preliminary round than Lothar Matthäus had explaining his marital history in chronological order. Only because last year's top scorer Rosheed Olamilekan Dauda directly followed up on his performances from the 32nd edition with three goals did the Moscardelli Party Army secure their ticket to the finals.
Newcomer Gassss also performed surprisingly well. Luca Poda's team took second place, while the Prophets from Eggental have unfortunately already been eliminated.

3. Moscardelli Party Army 3

Group D
If a team remains undefeated in the preliminary round, they're almost always among the favorites for the Morktplotz. But this year, there seem to be more undefeated teams than Mario Basler's appearances on trash TV shows. Group B also features two teams: the Mendelbuabm from Kaltern and the Don Promillos. While the Caldaro team almost achieved a maximum result with three goals in three matches – fittingly, they only managed a draw against the Don Promillos – the Ritten team showed off their full potential in one match. Against Mambo No. 5, led by Andrian captain Mark Kröss, the Don Promillos performed like a professional cleaner, sweeping their opponents off the pitch 4-0.
The young Überetsch team Knedl with Souss (we sincerely hope that it will be a dream duel against Knedl from Jenesien) also qualified for the finals on Saturday.
1.Mendelbuabm 7
2.Don Promillos 5
3.Knedl with Souss 2
4.Mambo No. 5 1

Was it the presence of Serie B pro and Morktplotz winner Lorenzo Sgarbi in the stands, a motivational boost in the form of a hop-infused drink before the match, or the fact that the Montiggler strategists lived up to their name and devised an excellent tactic? We don't know, but we too would like to have a taste of what Matthias Gasser had in his first match against Restelica City. With three goals, he practically single-handedly decided the match for his Montigglers, thus playing a major role in them finishing the preliminary round as group winners. It doesn't matter that the Strategists lost their last game against the Bieraten and thus essentially "gifted" them with second place.
This heavy defeat is particularly bitter for Restelica City. The newcomer is forced to throw in the towel after the preliminary round due to a worse goal difference, giving way to Hangover 96.

3. Hangover 96
4. Restelica City 2
