After the onset of winter: Lintner shines on Terlano's artificial turf.

Winter made a comeback in South Tyrol this week, even in the lower elevations. This thwarted the plans of clubs without artificial turf pitches. However, regional league football was on offer in Bruneck and Terlan on Saturday.

Despite being in the middle of the table, the visitors put up a good fight. After 18 minutes, the score was 2-0 for the away side. Bruneck had to shake off the setback but responded promptly. Before halftime, the Puster Valley team equalized, with goals from Manuel Wachtler (29th minute) and Thomas Piffrader (39th minute).

In Terlan, winter signing Felix Lintner (returning from Obermais) became the match-winner. The Bolzano striker scored the early opener (8th minute) after a pass from Thomas Albenberger. Natz responded through Maximilian Schraffl, who equalized before halftime (35th minute). Lintner ultimately sealed the victory for Terlan after Albenberger had hit the post. In the 85th minute, Lintner scored the winning goal, making it 2-1 for the Adige Valley side.

However, no match was played in Gargazon. The snowfall on Thursday made it impossible to hold the Burgraviate derby against Tscherms Marling. Unlike Bruneck and Terlan, Gargazon does not have an artificial turf pitch.
