Oberliga: St. Georgen beats Tramin late
From South Tyrol's perspective, Sunday was dominated by the two domestic duels in the Oberliga. While Virtus Bozen celebrated a home victory, Tramin lost the away victory in the last second.

Late but finally, Philipp Schwingshackl ensured that the home team remained unbeaten in their third league match of the season in St. Georgen. The midfield strategist from St. Georgen converted a penalty in injury time to make the final score 3:2 against Tramin. David Toll had previously scored twice for the visitors.
Thanks to the draw, St. Georgen remains the first pursuer of league leaders Obermais. The Meran team won their home game against Serie D relegated team Mori S. Stefano 1-0 and are alone at the top of the table with the maximum number of points (9 points). Virtus Bozen completes the top trio in South Tyrol. The regional capital team won the duel with ex-coach Luca Lomi 3-1 against Partschins. It took until the 66th minute before Arnaldo Kaptina opened the scoring for Bozen. Up until then, the Lower Vinschgau team had led 1-0 thanks to a goal by Daniel Lanthaler.

Bozner FC has finally scored. The team led by former Serie B player Manuel Scavone drew 0-0 with Vipo Trento. Trento is also still without a win, but has at least 2 points on its account. St. Pauls has twice as many points, winning 1-0 against Comano thanks to an Oliver Rohrer goal.
