Obermais vs. Anaune: The first title is awarded

FC Obermais can claim another title on Tuesday. The newly promoted Serie D team will face Anaune Val di Non in the Supercup clash.

Last year, Obermais and Anaune competed in the Oberliga, but now the two clubs are separated by two leagues. While the South Tyroleans secured promotion to Serie D with their championship title, Anaune was relegated to the Trentino regional league. The two teams will meet in the Supercup because they each won the respective cups in their respective provinces.

The favorites for the Supercup final in Lavis (kick-off: 20 p.m.) are therefore clearly in the mix. While Obermais isn't putting much emphasis on the match, there's a title up for grabs – and another trophy in the FCO trophy cabinet certainly wouldn't bother anyone. For coach Flavio Toccoli and his team, it's also a dress rehearsal before the cup opener against Caldiero Terme, which takes place on Sunday at 17 p.m.
