Most of the teams in the Oberliga (fifth tier) were scheduled to start their second half of the season on Sunday at 15 p.m. Three home games for South Tyrolean teams were on the schedule (Partschins already played on Saturday). In the end, two matches on South Tyrolean soil had to be cancelled – with one exception.
SSV Brixen braved the snowfall and played their match against Ahrntal on their home artificial turf pitch. Matches are also taking place in Trentino, with the exception of Levico Terme. For example, Tramin is playing in Rovereto and Virtus Bozen is facing Benacense.
The matches Levico – Bozner FC, St. Pauls – Mori and St. Georgen – Gröden (planned in the Bruneck school zone) were cancelled.
