Pure excitement: All the information about the South Tyrolean football weekend

All decisions have been made in the Oberliga and Landesliga. However, things are still heating up in some of the lower leagues. Find out here what's happening this weekend and who's still fighting for promotion or against relegation.

Bruneck and Naturns have been promoted from the Landesliga to the Oberliga; that's a done deal. Because of this, there are still places available in South Tyrol's top league. The two champions of the 1st Amateur Leagues are guaranteed promotion, as is the winner of the playoff between the runners-up. But who these will be is still undecided.

In the 1. Amateur League A Auer has swept aside all obstacles in recent weeks. St. Martin Moos faltered against Tirol (1-1) and no longer controls its own destiny in the title race. A long-distance duel ensues on Sunday: Auer plays in Riffian, while St. Martin Moos hosts Kaltern. Will Ianeselli's team let victory slip away on the final matchday? Unlikely. The likely outcome: Auer will be promoted to the Landesliga, while the Passeier side will face a decisive third-place match.

Showdown in the East

A real treat awaits on Sunday in Latzfons, where the combined team will face Kiens. The special thing about it: the title is at stake. B groupThe Eisack Valley team needs a point to secure their return to the Landesliga. However, if Kiens wins the match, the Puster Valley team would overtake them at the last minute. It's certain that both teams still have a chance of reaching the Landesliga. The playoff game against the second-place team from Group A takes place on Sunday, June 7th.

Sterzing and Feldthurns in a long-distance duel

Everything is clear in the 2. Amateur League A, where Algund (champions) and Ulten are promoted. In the B-team Albeins are champions. Behind them, Sterzing and Feldthurns are battling for the second guaranteed spot in the 1st Amateur League. Sterzing goes into the final matchday with a one-point advantage, where they travel to Barbian Villanders. Feldthurns play in Gossensaß, who still need points to secure their place in the league.
Thomas Larch can secure the title in the 2nd Amateur League with Sterzing.

It's also exciting in the lowest league, the 3nd amateur leagueIn the western district, Jenesien is in pole position. However, their lead over Girlan is only one point. The Überetsch team plays Völlan Tisens on Sunday. Jenesien can clinch the title in Laas. In Group B, Bolzano's Napoli Club, who face Latino Americana Incas on the final matchday, are poised to win the championship, but Unterland Berg (two points behind and with the Unterland derby against Leifers Branzoll ahead) is still in contention. Everything is settled in the east, where Wiesen secured the championship and promotion to the Second Amateur League. Finally, the three runners-up still have a chance to secure a place in the Second Amateur League via the playoffs.

Who needs to go down?

The relegation battles in the respective leagues are less exciting. Tscherms and SC Passeier (Group A), as well as Steinhaus and Taisten Welsberg (Group B), will be relegated to the Second Amateur League. Morter, Goldrain (Group A), and Terenten (Group B) will be relegated to the Third Amateur League. The fourth team relegated from the Second Amateur League will be determined between Gossensaß and Jergina Amateurs.
