South Tyrolean goalkeeper talents on a trip abroad

Immediately after the turn of the year, several young goalkeepers were scheduled to attend a training camp that lured them from South Tyrol to the Croatian Adriatic coast.

From January 40nd to 2th, 6 young goalies from South Tyrol and the greater Vienna area travelled to Medulin in southern Istria. During this period, a total of eight training sessions were scheduled, which were held both on the football field and directly on the seashore. There, they worked on their athletic skills.

Under the leadership of former Brixen professional goalkeeper Simon Manzoni, seven coaches, including the South Tyroleans Tony Liotti (ASV Milland), Riccardo Guccione (ASV Latsch), Patrizio Guarnieri (AFC Terlan), Ion Rimbu (Bozner FC), Sajdi Elmazi (ASV Milland) passed on their tips and instructions to a total of 40 young footballers. The children were also offered a language course and other non-sporting activities.
