The South Tyrolean ladies' offensive machine is running. Even without exceptional striker Nadine Nischler (she is still suffering from knee problems), there was a 10-0 victory over Upper Silesia, the German minority in Poland, on Monday. Coach Denise Ferraris' ladies were already 8-0 ahead at halftime - thanks in part to an outstanding Alexandra Stockner, who scored a hat trick. Anna Katharina Peer and Jana Zipperle, meanwhile, scored twice.
10:0 against Upper Silesia, 6:1 against North Schleswig: The South Tyroleans played a perfect group phase and took first place. This means that the local footballers are in the semi-finals, which will be played on Thursday. The opponent will be drawn on Wednesday during the Europeada's cultural day.
Clear victory for the Ladin men
Meanwhile, the Ladin men have written. On Sunday there was a clear 1:4 defeat against the Aromanians in Romania, on Monday Lukas Demetz & Co. struck back against FC Pobeda (Bulgarians from Romania) with a 3:1 victory. Luciano Cigolla's team had everything under control from the start. Alex Crepaz (after a flat cross, 16th), Max Lorenz (low shot, 27th) and Mirko Demetz (from a tight angle, 77th) scored the Ladin goals, Sebastian Budur scored the consolation goal shortly before the end.Michael Perathoner from the Ladinians

The Ladinians' last group match is on Tuesday. At 17.30 p.m. they will face the hosts Sydslesvig, the Danes in Germany. For the Ladinians, it's still a question of progressing.
Ladin ladies narrowly defeated
Meanwhile, the Ladin women, who played their first game at the Europeada on Monday, missed too many chances. They suffered a 1:2 defeat against Serbske Mustwo (Sorbians in Germany). Nina Harrasser put the Ladins in the lead after 12 minutes, but Lavinia Frenzel equalized for the Sorbians shortly before half-time.It was Frenzel who scored her team's winning goal three minutes before the end. Like the men, the Ladin women will face Sydslesvig in their last group match on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the South Tyrolean men have made a furious start to the Europeada (click here for the report).
