Unpredictable weather disrupts the cup final.

Following the conclusion of the Oberliga season, the state cup final will take place next weekend. The weather has caused some disruption.

It's one of the big highlights to close out this football season: the regional cup final. It all kicks off on Saturday when Virtus Bozen and Ahrntal face off. A thrilling duel: the newly crowned Oberliga champions on one side, and Teldra, who play on Sunday, on the other. in a nail-biting finale, they secured their place in the league have secured their place in the regional top football league.

However, the weather is causing some headaches. The cup final was originally scheduled to take place in Vals. But because significant rain – and even snow – is forecast for the coming days, association president Klaus Schuster and his team have made alternative arrangements. The final will therefore not be held on the grass pitch in Vals, but on the artificial turf in Freienfeld. There is also a covered grandstand there. Kick-off for the final match is at 18 p.m. on Saturday.
