Arge Alp: South Tyrol is in the final

South Tyrol against Trentino. This is what the boys' final of the international tournament Arge Alp 2023 will be like. The two U15 teams from the Province of Bolzano and Province of Trento took first place in their respective rounds and will fight for the coveted trophy tomorrow, Sunday at 11.30 a.m. in Vahrn, the venue of the prestigious competition. The South Tyrolean team of Wolfgang Crepaz and Marco Maraner secured first place in Group B thanks to a 2-0 win in the third and decisive game of the round against Graubünden. It was Bonato who started the result with a cross from the right that the opposing goalkeeper couldn't control and so the ball ended up in the net under pressure from Esmaiil. Meraner then scored the second goal with a wonderful shot from the turn. South Tyrol was level on points with St. Gallen, but is ahead thanks to yesterday's victory in the direct duel, which Pixner won 1-0. In their first game, the South Tyroleans lost 0-1 against Vorarlberg. Endrighi's Trentino team, on the other hand, defeated Salzburg 1-0 thanks to a beautiful free kick from Rech and, thanks to this victory, is now one point ahead of the Ticino team. Girls miss the final The U15 women's final (10 a.m.) will instead take place between Tyrol and Vorarlberg. South Tyrol missed qualifying for the final due to a 1-2 defeat against Tyrol and came third. Suemi Hajzeri scored the goal for South Tyrol. Denise Ferraris and Daniela Consolati's girls will play against St. Gallen for third place on Sunday at 10 a.m. Ironically, the Swiss were beaten 2-0 on the opening day by a double strike from Lejla Redza. A football festival for everyone In Vahrn, the tournament in the category of people with and without disabilities ended in an atmosphere of great joy and celebration. The ten registered teams were divided into two groups. In Group A: Bayern II, Graubünden (Arbes), South Tyrol I (Sport&Friends), Trentino (Lizzana Special Team), Vorarlberg (Special Olympics). In B Bavaria I, St. Gallen (Johanneum Angels), South Tyrol II (Sport&Friends), South Tyrol III (Lebenshilfe) and Tyrol. The winner of the final was Bayern I, who prevailed against Vorarlberg.
