Arge Alpe: Silver and bronze for South Tyrol

After three exciting days, the football festival is over. Three categories (U15 men, U15 women, disabled and non-disabled) played for titles and joy in Vahrn. There was a lot to cheer about for South Tyrol.

On Sunday there were for South Tyrol, according to the performances on the previous days, some decisions on the agenda. The U15 teams performed well. For the boys, the team of Wolfgang Crepaz and Marco Maraner took first place in their group. In the final they had to admit defeat to the strong selection from Trentino 0-3. In the women's category, the girls, led by Denise Ferraris and Daniela Consolati, finished third in their group and then met St. Gallen in the small final, which they beat 1-0 with a goal from Suemi Hajzeri.

In Vahrn, the tournament in the category of people with and without disabilities ended in an atmosphere of great joy and celebration. The winner of the final was Bayern I, who defeated Vorarlberg, while Tyrol completed the podium. The good performances of the three South Tyrolean teams, two from Lebenshilfe and one from Sport&Friends, were also remarkable.

In short, it was a true sports festival that began on Thursday evening with the opening ceremony and ended on Sunday with the award ceremony after the final. State Governor Arno Kompatscher and several other local personalities were also there.
