Ingolstadt in Latsch: Showdown with Vinschgau selection
As in the past two years, the German third-division football club FC Ingolstadt 04 will once again set up their training camp in Latsch. From Saturday, July 11th, to Sunday, July 19th, the professionals will prepare for the upcoming season in the Vinschgau valley.

The traditional Bavarian club finished the past season in 11th place in the 3. Liga. The new season begins on August 7th. The "Schanzer" will be putting the finishing touches on their preparations for the start of the championship at the sports facilities in Latsch.
FC Ingolstadt already took advantage of the optimal conditions in the Vinschgau Valley for preseason training in 2024 and 2025. In 2024, the club also made football history: Sabrina Wittmann was appointed as the first female head coach in German men's professional football. The 34-year-old continues to manage FC Ingolstadt.

One of the highlights of the training camp is the joint training session and friendly match on Tuesday, July 14th, at the Latsch sports stadium. FC Ingolstadt 04 will face a Vinschgau selection starting at 19 p.m. Admission is free. Food and cold drinks will be provided by ASV Latsch Raiffeisen.Ingolstadt will play another friendly match on July 18th in Santa Cristina Val Gardena. There, they will face the Italian Serie B club Palermo at 16 pm, who are also holding their training camp in South Tyrol.
