In Kiens: DFB Cup finalist wins friendly match

German second division club Arminia Bielefeld is currently completing a training camp in Kiens. During this camp, the East Westphalians won a friendly against a team from North Tyrol.

Arminia Bielefeld won Wednesday evening's friendly against Austrian regional league side SC Imst 3-1. All goals were scored in the first half. Former Bundesliga player Noah Sarenren Bazee also scored for Bielefeld.

Last season, Bielefeld sensationally reached the DFB-Pokal final as a third-division team, only to be defeated there by VfB Stuttgart. The traditional club was able to console itself with promotion to the 2. Bundesliga. Bielefeld will train in Kiens until July 20th – and immediately announced a "contract extension." Arminia will conduct its preseason training in the Pustertal Valley until at least 2027.
