The winger scored the third goal in the Bundesliga club's first-round cup victory in East Westphalia at the age of 16 years, 10 months, and 16 days. HSV legend Seeler was 17 years, 9 months, and 10 days old when he scored in the 1954 cup match against Trier.
Following a pass from Nicolai Remberg, Lemke fired a powerful low shot into the far corner from the left wing. The 16-year-old played until the 75th minute of HSV's 3-0 victory in East Westphalia. "He's a hard worker and, despite his age, still enjoys playing football immensely," said HSV coach Merlin Polzin after the match.
Lemke made his Bundesliga debut last season. The winger made a brief appearance in Hamburg's away game against Freiburg on matchday 33. Lemke will turn 17 in October.
