Luis Díaz's move to FC Bayern almost complete

According to media reports, the transfer of offensive player Luis Díaz to FC Bayern is imminent.

In the negotiations with Liverpool FC, only the final details remain to be clarified. The deal could, according to BILD be made perfect on Sunday or Monday.

The transfer fee for the 28-year-old Colombian is said to be around €75 million. Díaz would receive a four-year contract and become one of the top earners at the German record champions. The TV station Sky and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported a breakthrough in the negotiations.

According to reports, previously difficult negotiations have gained momentum this weekend. Díaz, who can play on the wing or in the center of attack, is under contract with the English champions until 2027.

No longer in the squad for the friendly against Milan

Liverpool manager Arne Slot had already confirmed on Saturday that Díaz was not in the squad for the recent friendly against Milan due to rumors of a transfer. "He's training very well with us, but we've decided not to let him play for the time being," the Dutchman said following the 2-4 defeat to the Italian first division side in Hong Kong.

Slot said he had spoken with the Colombian. But he declined to provide any further information about his chances of a move to Bayern: "Does he want to leave? I'm not the right person to ask."
