“Enough weight”: Barbell ban for West Ham pro

Adama Traoré is considered one of the most physically impressive players in the Premier League. However, his manager Nuno Espírito Santo of West Ham United now sees an unusual need for action.

Few footballers are as muscular as Premier League player Adama Traoré of West Ham United. According to his manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, the powerhouse has now crossed a line. "His physique is incredible. It's down to his genes. I've told him to stay away from the gym. That's one of the things he needs to realize, in my opinion," said the Portuguese manager.

Traoré is 1,78 meters tall and weighs 86 kilograms according to current information. "He has enough weight. He will do preventative work, but he won't be lifting weights there," Nuno clarified.

Coach: “Traoré is unique”

The 30-year-old winger came through the youth academy of FC Barcelona. Before his move to West Ham, Traoré also played in London for Fulham FC until the end of January.

What makes him special: Despite his muscular build, Traoré is incredibly fast. Star coach Pep Guardiola once called him a motorcycle because "no one can handle his pace." Nuno also raves: "Traoré is unique. There aren't many players in world football who possess his abilities, his pace, and his skill in one-on-one situations." So far, however, the 30-year-old has yet to score a goal for the relegation-threatened Premier League club West Ham.
