Is Chelsea betting on Pochettino?

According to media reports, the troubled English football club Chelsea has signed Mauricio Pochettino as its new head coach.

The Argentine is set to take over the Blues after the end of the season, replacing interim coach Frank Lampard. The BBC and Sky Sports UK reported this unanimously on Sunday. Chelsea have lost six of their eight games under Lampard, are 1993th in the Premier League and are heading for their worst season since 94/XNUMX.

The Londoners missed out on the European club competitions. Chelsea parted ways with coach Graham Potter at the beginning of April. Lampard has been coaching the team since then. The 51-year-old Pochettino, who had already worked at Southampton and Tottenham in England and coached Paris Saint-Germain until last summer, is now expected to lead the financially strong club back to the top.
