After attack on Burgstaller: perpetrator turns himself in

Following the attack on Guido Burgstaller from the Austrian Bundesliga football club SK Rapid on Saturday morning, a 23-year-old turned himself in to the Vienna police on Tuesday evening.

The man refused to testify and was taken to a prison after consultation with the public prosecutor's office. He is said to have first started talking to Burgstaller's companion and then suddenly punched the professional athlete in the face. Burgstaller was seriously injured.
