Despite an early 0-2 deficit, the Catalans celebrated a thrilling 4-3 victory against Real Madrid. This puts Barça seven points ahead of Real with three games remaining and could seal the title with a win in the city derby against Espanyol on Thursday.
Flick's eleven appeared unfazed by the bitter Champions League semi-final defeat to Inter Milan and, after winning the Spanish Cup and the Super Cup, could clinch their third title under Flick this season. Real Madrid, on the other hand, faces a titleless year in what is likely to be their last season under successful coach Carlo Ancelotti; Leverkusen's championship-winning coach, Xabi Alonso, could take over in the summer.

Eric Garcia (19th), young star Lamine Yamal (32nd), and Raphinha twice (34th and 45th) secured the fourth victory in the fourth Clásico of the season at the old Olympic Stadium. Even the three Real Madrid goals from French superstar Kylian Mbappé (5th/penalty, 14th and 70th) didn't change that.
