Another South Tyrolean footballer has made the jump to a Serie A club. Jana Oberparleiter is moving from SSV Brixen to Florence.

Eva Schatzer, Nadine Nischler, and Katja Schroffenegger are joined by Jana Oberparleiter, the fourth South Tyrolean to make the leap to a Serie A club. Born in 2010, the Eisacktal native joins Fiorentina from SSV Brixen.
Like Schatzer, who is currently with the national team at the Women's European Championship in Switzerland, Oberparleiter started playing soccer in Vahrn. The central defender was recently a member of the Italian junior national team and participated in the regional tournament in Sicily with the South Tyrolean selection this spring.
