Social media star introduces new boyfriend

Things aren't going well for Swiss footballer and Instagram star Alisha Lehmann in her sporting career, but things are going well in her private life.

On her 27th birthday on Wednesday, the national team player went public with her new relationship. She posted a series of photos with her new boyfriend, Montel McKenzie (28), on Instagram.

The Englishman plays as a defender for the lower-league football club Folkestone Invicta FC in the seventh tier. However, he is likely better known to fans from English reality TV, where he participated in the dating show "Love Island" in 2023 and "Love Island: All Stars" in 2025. He also plays for MVPs United in the Baller League UK. Alisha Lehmann is the co-manager of the club.

Couple photos on Instagram and a "Love you"

McKenzie also posted couple photos for the first time. "Happy Birthday Baby," the 28-year-old wrote on Instagram, followed by a heart emoji. Lehmann replied with "Love you."

Previously, Lehmann was in a relationship with Brazilian professional footballer Douglas Luiz. She and Luiz moved to Juventus Turin together in 2024, before their separation was announced in April 2025. Thanks to her strong social media presence, Lehmann is one of the most well-known figures in women's football. She has nearly 16 million followers on Instagram and 11,8 million followers on TikTok.

Will Lehmann soon have a new club?

Lehmann could soon find herself near her new partner. According to the BBC, Leicester City are looking to sign the attacking midfielder from Italian Serie A club Como Women. The Women's Super League club has reportedly held advanced talks with Como in recent days.

Lehmann was not in the squad for last Saturday's 0-0 league draw against Napoli. Her time at Como has not been particularly successful so far: she has not scored a goal in her six appearances. Lehmann only joined Como from Juventus in August, signing a three-year contract. England is not new territory for Lehmann, as she has previously played there for West Ham, Everton, and Aston Villa.
