The Coppa Italia quarter-final between Napoli and Como took place on Tuesday evening. Reigning Italian champions Napoli must now bury another title dream.

Como took the lead through a Martin Baturina penalty, before rising star Antonio Vergara equalized for Napoli immediately after the restart (46'). The two top Serie A teams then played an evenly matched game, but no further goals were scored.
In the end, a penalty shootout had to decide who would advance to the semi-finals – and there Como came out on top.
