Bologna's spectacular draw in Brixen

A friendly match with Champions League participant Bologna took place in Brixen on Wednesday evening.

Bologna is currently preparing for the new Serie A season in Vals. On Wednesday there was a friendly match in Brixen. The opponent was the Greek first division team Asteras Tripolis. In the end, the two teams parted ways with a spectacular 3:3 draw, which is unlikely to satisfy Bologna.

After the departure of star player Riccardo Calafiori, Bologna's defense was often in trouble. After five minutes, the Champions League participant fell behind when Bartolo put his Greeks 1-0 ahead. However, Castro (13th) and Cambiaghi (15th) turned the match around immediately.

After the break, Munoz equalized for Asteras (52'), before Orsolini scored what appeared to be the winning goal for Bologna (62'). But Asteras still had an arrow in its quiver in the finish with Adam (72'). The final score was 3:3.

Bologna will take part in a three-team tournament with FC Südtirol and German Bundesliga club VfL Bochum on Saturday at the Drusus Stadium in Bolzano at the end of the training camp.
