The club, led by star coach Cesc Fabregas, secured a 4-1 away victory against Genoa. The match didn't start well at all, as Genoa took the lead through Osmajic (19'). However, Como then turned things around. Baturina (25'), Diao (30'), Paz (40') and Diao (78') sealed the win.
With this victory, Como climbs to first place in Serie A – at least for one night. With seven points, Como is one point ahead of Roma, Inter, Milan, Juventus, Atalanta and Lazio, who all have six points.
