Former FCS coach Baroni risks being fired
There could soon be another coaching change in Serie A. Marco Baroni is under fire at Torino after a debacle against Como. The former FC Südtirol coach is not giving up.

In the 2005/06 season, Marco Baroni was on the sidelines for FC Südtirol. That was 20 years ago, and the coach has long since made his mark in Serie A. After stints at Lecce, Hellas Verona, and Lazio, Baroni was supposed to lead FC Torino to a brighter future. But – as things stand now – the project is in danger of failing.
After a 0-6 thrashing against Como, Baroni's time in Turin is on the line. The team has lost its last four matches and slipped into the relegation zone. Will Baroni still be in charge for the upcoming match against his former club Lecce (a direct clash between the two sides)? It's uncertain. However, as he stated after the game, Baroni isn't considering resigning.
500 white roses for Rocco Commisso
In Florence, there was an emotional farewell to the late president Rocco Commisso. Fiorentina's youth players carried 500 white roses into the stadium, and a small memorial service was held for Commisso. On the pitch, they suffered a 1-2 defeat against Cagliari, which coach Paolo Vanoli commented on as follows: "I hope this game was a lesson for us. We finally need to learn to approach certain games with a different attitude."A memorial service was held in Florence for the late President Rocco Commisso. © ANSA / CLAUDIO GIOVANNINI
