In Natz, the Serie A club retains the upper hand

A prestigious friendly match took place in Natz on Friday afternoon: Serie A club Empoli met second division club Spezia. In the end, the first division club prevailed.

South Tyrol is once again the training mecca for many professional clubs this year. Serie A club Empoli has set up its training tents in Natz, while Serie B club Spezia is working on its form for the new season in St. Christina. On Friday, the two teams played a training match in Natz.

Empoli achieved a fitting 2-0 victory. Francesco Caputo and Emmanuel Ekong scored the goals for the first division team. Both goals were scored in the second half (50th, 62nd). While the training camp for Empoli has now come to an end, Spezia will continue to train in St. Christina.
