Inter consolidate their lead in the table – Juve equalize late

League leaders Inter continued their winning streak in Serie A, temporarily extending their lead over city rivals Milan. Meanwhile, Juventus equalized against Lazio in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Inter Milan cruised to a comfortable 5-0 victory away at Sassuolo on Sunday. They now hold an eight-point lead over their city rivals and closest pursuers, AC Milan, who have played one game less. Inter are unbeaten in their last twelve Serie A matches, winning eleven of them.

Yann Aurel Bisseck (11th minute), Marcus Thuram (28th minute), Lautaro Martinez (50th minute), Manuel Akanji (53rd minute) and Luis Henrique (88th minute) scored for AC Milan. Sassuolo played with only ten men from the 55th minute onwards after Nemanja Matic was sent off for dissent.

Meanwhile, Juventus and Lazio drew 2-2 on Sunday evening. Pedro towards the end of the first half (45+2) and Gustav Isaksen at the beginning of the second (47) had put Lazio in the lead, but Weston McKennie (59) and Pierre Kalulu in stoppage time (90+6) brought the equalizer.
