Juventus secured a mandatory victory on Saturday evening, convincingly beating bottom-of-the-table Pisa 3-0 in Serie A. The Turin side lived up to their favorites' tag in the home match, although despite clear dominance on the pitch, they initially struggled more than the final score suggests. For the Old Lady, these three points are crucial in their fight for European qualification, while Pisa remains mired in crisis at the bottom of the table and suffers another setback in their relegation battle.
From the outset, Juventus took control and pushed Pisa deep into their own half. Thuram, Conceição, and Locatelli created early chances, and a series of crosses and set pieces repeatedly put the visitors under pressure. Pisa defended with great commitment for long periods, intercepting several attacks at the last second, while Nicolas Andrade defused a number of dangerous situations. Thus, despite the home side's clear advantage, the first half ended goalless, partly because Juventus lacked the necessary precision in the final third.

After the break, the game was quickly decided. In the 54th minute, Cambiaso headed in a cross from Yildiz from close range to give Juventus a deserved lead. Juventus continued to press and added another goal shortly after: Thuram reacted quickest in the penalty area and made it 2-0 in the 65th minute. Pisa struggled to find any answers in attack, while the hosts now controlled the game and continued to push for a third goal. Yildiz delivered it in the 75th minute after a pass from Conceição. In stoppage time, Juventus added another: Locatelli found Boga in the penalty area, who slotted home the fourth goal in the 93rd minute to make it 4-0.
