In a fiercely contested six-pointer, bottom-of-the-table clash between Hellas Verona and Pisa ended in a goalless draw. For both teams, the point represents a small step in their fight against relegation.

Both teams engaged in a match from the outset with few clear-cut scoring opportunities. Verona repeatedly tried to create pressure via set pieces and crosses, but the visitors' defense remained solid. Pisa relied on counter-attacks and were dangerous in quick transitions, but without managing to break through.

In the final stages, Verona increased the intensity once again, but neither a free kick nor several crosses resulted in a goal. Pisa also failed to capitalize on their few chances – in the end, it remained a 0-0 draw, which does little to help either team in their position at the bottom of the table.
