The San Siro offered spectators a highly interesting duel: Milan (2nd) and Como (6th), two top teams, faced off. The team of former professional Cesc Fabregas, in particular, displayed attractive attacking football. In the end, there was no winner – Milan and Como drew 1-1. League leaders Inter are now seven points ahead of the Rossoneri – the two teams will meet again in the Milan derby on March 8th.
Overall, the visitors were the better team and deservedly took the lead in the first half: After a glaring error by Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, Nico Paz capitalized and simply had to tap the ball into the empty net (32'). Subsequently, Fabregas' team could have extended their lead to 2-0, but Fikayo Tomori, who cleared the ball off the line, and Maignan with a superb save against Sergi Roberto kept Milan in the game.

After the break, Milan suddenly became more active in attack – and were immediately rewarded: During a counter-attack, Rafael Leao saw that Como goalkeeper Jean Butez was positioned too high and tried a perfectly placed lob from 25 meters (64'). In the closing stages, Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri and a Como staff member were shown red cards after a verbal altercation, before Maignan rescued a point for his team with a save against Jesus Rodriguez in stoppage time.Serie A, 25th matchday
