Serie A duel in Prad: Torino sweeps Cremonese from the pitch

Half a dozen professional clubs from Italy's top two leagues are preparing for the new season in South Tyrol. Two first-division teams faced off on Saturday in Prato allo Stelvio.

In the persistent rain in Vinschgau, Torino clearly defeated Serie A newcomers Cremonese 4-1.

An early wonder goal from Ivan Ilic put the Granata on the road to victory in front of a packed crowd. Although Unterland first division striker Manue De Luca was able to reduce the deficit to 1-2 for Cremonese, the newcomer had no further impact in the second half. Torino eventually increased the score to 4-1, thus concluding their training camp in Prato with a convincing victory. The Turin team then headed home.

Cremonese, on the other hand, was on his way to his training camp in Livigno on Saturday, which only starts this weekend.
