So Milan is definitely ready for the title

AC Milan made a strong impression in Serie A on Sunday evening: The Rossoneri brought champions Napoli to their knees at San Siro – and they did so with ten men.

Milan celebrated in the top match against Napoli a convincing 2-1 victory, albeit one that was shaky until the last second. This puts Milan in a position close to the league leaders from southern Italy.

Saelemaekers, who had returned from Bologna, and the indispensable playmaker Pulisic led Milan to victory with their first-half goals. The thrilling moment came with Estupinan's dismissal, which brought down Napoli's Di Lorenzo in the penalty area, allowing veteran De Bruyne to score a penalty. However, the home side held on to their 2-1 lead despite being outnumbered in the remaining 33 minutes.

Roma is at the forefront

Already in the afternoon the Roma their status as the team of the moment with a 2-0 win against Greece Verona This was underscored by the fact that top scorer Dovbyk, with his first goal of the season, and attacking talent Soulè led the Romans to their fourth win in five matches. They moved ahead of Juventus into the top of the league. Meanwhile, winless Verona are tumbling toward the relegation zone.

The same applies to the players who were so active in the transfer market in the summer. Fiorentina, who in the Tuscany derby against arch-rivals Pisa could only manage a goalless draw, putting coach Pioli in the firing line. Newly promoted Pisa missed their first win of the season several times. This is still awaiting Lecce, which against Bologna but at least saved a point. The 17-year-old Milan loanee Camarda scored in stoppage time to make it 2-2 for the southern Italians. In addition, promoted Sassuolo at home against Udinese.
