Jonathan David has signed a contract with Juventus, becoming the first Canadian player in the club's history. The 25-year-old striker joins the Bianconeri on a free transfer from French club Lille OSC and is expected to strengthen the team's attacking play under coach Igor Tudor.
David began his professional career with Gent in Belgium before joining Lille in 2020. In five years with the French club, he scored 109 goals and provided 30 assists—an impressive tally that made him the third-leading goalscorer in the club's history. His goal against Juventus in the Champions League was particularly notable, highlighting his prowess on the European stage.

David signed a four-year contract with an annual net salary of €6 million plus €2 million in bonuses. His move could also affect the future of Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract runs until 2026 but whose relationship with the club has deteriorated.
