A week and a half before the end of the transfer window, Juventus has released Douglas Luiz. The Brazilian arrived in Turin with high expectations, but never lived up to expectations.

In combination with his then girlfriend Alisha Lehmann, Douglas Luiz a year ago for €52 million from Aston Villa to Juventus. However, the Brazilian never settled in Turin and at times seemed like an outsider on the pitch. While the Swiss international Lehmann now plays for Como, Luiz is returning to England: Europa League participant Nottingham Forest is loaning the 27-year-old out for a year, after which there is an obligation to buy for €33 million.


According to a media report, FC Bayern is releasing another attacking player. As the broadcaster Sky reports, the German record champions agreed on a transfer of the Austrian-born Paul Wanner to PSV Eindhoven. The report mentions a transfer fee of at least €15 million, as well as a buy-back option, which the Munich club secured. The 19-year-old was most recently on loan to Heidenheim.

After the 0-1 defeat at Rennes, there was a real scandal in the dressing room of Olympique Marseille: Adrien Rabiot (30) and teammate Jonathan Rowe clashed violently in the locker room after the game. It even escalated into a physical altercation. Marseille reacted promptly. Rabiot and Rowe were immediately suspended from training and officially placed on the transfer list. The French international is now available for €15 million.

In the changing theatre around Newcastle's Alexander Isak The striker has increased the pressure. The 25-year-old is desperate to move to Liverpool FC. Newcastle, however, refuses to let the Swede go, despite a €125 million offer. "If promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship cannot continue," Isak explained. Newcastle rejected Isak's claims: "Our response is clear that at no time was there a commitment that he would be allowed to leave in the summer."

In Serie A, Nicolai Zalewski for 17 million euros from Inter to Atalanta. Roma has winger Leon Bailey on loan from Aston Villa. Parma has a central defender gem Giovanni Leoni sold to Liverpool for 31 million euros.

Milan's former captain Davide Calabria went to Panathinaikos in Greece on a free transfer. Napoli have signed the Spanish left-back Michael Gutierrez for €14 million from Girona. The long-time Atalanta defender Raphael Toloi returned to his native Brazil to Sao Paulo. Milan is looking for another striker and is familiar with Leverkusen's Victor Boniface agreed. Now it's just a matter of the transfer fee.
