Crazy: A Serie A match in Australia

The Serie A match between AC Milan and Como could be the first game of a top European football league to be played abroad.

According to the schedule, the match was supposed to take place at Milan's Meazza Stadium in early February 2026, but the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games is scheduled for February 6. The Italian Football Federation has now approved the match being played in Perth, Australia. However, the green light from FIFA, UEFA, and the Asian Confederation is still required.
