Carrarese in Kaltern: With South Tyroleans and ex-FCS striker

Serie B club Carrarese has been training in Kaltern since Tuesday. The Tuscan team arrived in the Überetsch region with two South Tyroleans and a former Austrian professional.

South Tyrol is and remains a training camp mecca for professional clubs. Carrarese arrived in Kaltern on Tuesday and are staying at the Hotel Weingarten. Simone Zanon (Sinich) and Emanuele Zuelli (Bolzano) accompanied the Tuscan team. Zanon, in particular, is considered a hot prospect on the transfer market. The full-back, a product of the FCS academy, is being courted by numerous clubs and could be on the move.

Carrarese, who will be coached by Gabriele Cioffi next season, have strengthened their attack ahead of their training camp in South Tyrol. They have signed Moustapha Cissè, a striker who is also very familiar to FCS fans. The 22-year-old made twelve appearances for FCS in the spring of 2023 (scoring two goals).

Carrarese will remain in Kaltern until July 26th. To conclude their stay, the Tuscan team will play a friendly match against Serie A club Napoli in Dimaro (Trentino). Kick-off is at 18 pm.
