Ciervo will play against FC Südtirol

Ricciardo Ciervo wasn't particularly happy at FC Südtirol last season. Now the lightning-fast winger has found a new club in Serie B.

Ciervo played 28 times for FC Südtirol in the 2023/24 season and scored 2 goals. However, the tall winger did not make the breakthrough. In the second half of the season, he mostly only made short appearances in Federico Valente's three-man defense system.

Because Ciervo was on loan from Sassuolo, he returned there on July 1st. However, the Serie A relegated team immediately loaned him out. Ciervo's new employer is Cosenza. The Calabrians have also secured a purchase option that can be exercised after the season. If Sassuolo wants the 22-year-old back after that, a buyback clause comes into effect.
