The “double homecoming” of a former FCS coach

Stefano Vecchi and Inter – that's a close relationship. As a teenager, he joined the Milanese giants and became Italian youth champion in 1989 – the same year Lothar Matthäus led Inter to their 13th Scudetto. Later, as a youth coach, Vecchi enjoyed success with the Black and Blues. It's only logical, then, that Inter chose the former FCS coach as their new coach for their new adventure in Serie C.

Vecchi completed the summer training camp with his U23 team in the place where he has coached the longest since his time at Inter – South Tyrol. He spoke with s+ about his time at FC Südtirol, the development of the White and Reds, and their prospects for the upcoming season.
