This opponent makes the FCS reminisce
After the unexpected break on Easter Monday – when all matches were canceled following the death of the Pope – FC Südtirol returns to action at home against Juve Stabia on Sunday. FC Südtirol coach Fabrizio Castori has issued a strong warning against the southern Italians.

Fabrizio Castori had a lot of praise for Juve Stabia on Friday, even a lot of praise. The team is incredibly hungry, is having an outstanding season as a newly promoted team, and could even be promoted to Serie A, Castori said ahead of the home game (Sunday, 15 p.m.) against the newly promoted side. And the Campania side are indeed doing well. After 33 matchdays, Juve Stabia – which also boasts a South Tyrolean, Lorenzo Sgarbi, under contract – is in fifth place. "Their players, who won Serie C last year, are doing outstandingly well in Serie B. You can also see the coach's clear influence," Castori said of their upcoming opponents and their coach Guido Pagliuca.
So much for the opponent, but what about FC Südtirol? "The team is complete, and we'll need every single player in the last five games," Castori clarifies. His team has been experiencing a physical slump in recent weeks, the coach added: "That's not an excuse, but it's normal. But now we're back in top shape."
"Juve Stabia is reminiscent of FC Südtirol two years ago. This is a similar run of success." Fabrizio Castori on the upcoming opponent, who is shaking up the league as a newly promoted team
Castori also explained how FCS will prevail against Juve Stabia at the Drusus Stadium: "We have to be hungrier than our opponents and bring more intensity to the pitch. That's the only way we can prevail." FCS will have to be especially careful of striker Andrea Adorante, who is really on fire with 14 goals in 30 matches in his first Serie B season. In general, Juve Stabia is giving FCS a run for their money. The newly promoted side's performances are comparable to those delivered by the White and Reds in their first Serie B season. "Absolutely, this is a similar run of success," Castori said.
Cancellation on Easter Monday is no problem
Unlike most of their rivals in the relegation battle, who play their games on Fridays, FC Südtirol won't play until Sunday. There will be no games on Saturday due to the funeral of Pope Francis in Rome. The cancellation of the home game against Bari on Easter Monday is not a problem. "It affected all the clubs, so it's the same for everyone," Castori said.Serie B: Matchday 34
