An old acquaintance wants to try it again at FCS

FC Südtirol is busy putting together its squad for the new season. Now, a player returns who the White and Red fans have fond memories of.

The deal had been hinted at in recent days, and now it's official: Emanuele Pecorino will return to FC Südtirol in the 2025/26 season. The 2023-year-old powerhouse already played for the White-Reds in the 24/23 season, scoring four goals in 26 Serie B matches.

After a mixed season in Frosinone (one goal in 20 games), the Sicilian now returns to FCS – on loan until June 30, 2026, as Pecorino's transfer rights still lie with Juventus. After the loan period, the South Tyroleans have a purchase option.

Pecorino first joined FCS in the summer of 2023. Initially a reserve, the 1,92-meter-tall center forward gradually worked his way into the team and finally hit his best in February. However, Pecorino sustained a knee injury (median ligament) during that same period and was out for the rest of the season. Now, the professional footballer from Catania has a new opportunity at FCS.
