A new era for the FCS juniors

FC Südtirol's oldest youth team will take part in the Primavera 2023 championship in the 24/2 season.

After the White Reds were admitted to the “Coppa Italia Primavera Tim” last week, the Lega Serie B announced on Tuesday that the FCS will take part in the second highest national junior championship in the new season.

The Primavera 2 Championship is divided into two groups and includes a total of 32 teams from Serie A Tim, Serie BKT and Serie C Now. Coach Federico Valente's team was assigned to Group A. In their own circle, FC Südtirol meets Albinoleffe, Alessandria, Brescia, Cittadella, Como, Cremonese, Feralpisalò, Vicenza, Padua, Parma, Reggiana, Renate, Spal, Udinese and Venice.

Group B, on the other hand, includes Ascoli, Bari, Benevento, Cesena, Cosenza, Crotone, Monopoli, Napoli, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Pisa, Salernitana, Spezia, Ternana and Virtus Entella. The first matchday of the Primavera 2 Championship was scheduled for September 16th.
