Fatal end: The bitter déjà vu of FC Südtirol

It was only a week ago FC Südtirol in the top game against Bari came into contact with the unpleasant side of football. In the third minute of stoppage time, the White Reds conceded the bitter 0-1. It was FCS full-back Alessandro Celli who was already on the ground in his own penalty area and unnecessarily brought down Ascoli attacker Mirko Eramo. A clear penalty that Jolly Cedric Gondo confidently converted. This sealed the bad end for FC Südtirol.

For Ascoli it is a victory that is well deserved in the end. The traditional club played FCS to the wall, especially in the first half. It was thanks to keeper Giacomo Poluzzi and the post that the score was 0-0 at halftime. In the entire game, Ascoli fired 18 shots on goal, FCS fired three.
