FC Südtirol lets defender go

FC Südtirol continues to work on the squad for the coming season. Now the white-reds have announced the next departure.

Luca Ghiringhelli is leaving FC Südtirol and is moving to Novara in Serie C with immediate effect. The two clubs have agreed on a permanent transfer for the 32-year-old right-back. He was never able to fully convince in Bolzano, so his departure was only a matter of time.

Ghiringhelli signed a two-year contract with FC Südtirol last summer. In the first half of last season, he played a total of six competitive matches for the White-Reds before moving on loan to Spal Ferrara in Serie C in the winter.
