FCS ratings: A new signing with a dream record

New signing Kenny Mixtur impresses at FC Südtirol with a dream scoring rate, while another newcomer has not yet really arrived in Bolzano.

Plizzari 6,5 The crossbar saved them once, but otherwise Catanzaro never managed a shot on goal. However, they again appeared very calm and exuded confidence and composure – with both their hands and their feet.

Stivanello 6,5 A difficult start. After five minutes, he lost a challenge against Catanzaro striker Koffi, giving the visitors their first chance. However, he then held his own at right-back. He gave his all, played the full 90 minutes, and was completely exhausted at the end.

Giorgini 7 Another outstanding performance. He commanded the defense and delivered a top-notch performance for the full 90 minutes. He never let anything slip. The undisputed defensive leader of FC Südtirol. His future lies in Serie A.

Rispoli is a real asset for FCS.

Veroli 6 He did his job well for a long time and conceded little at the back, but ultimately succumbed to the Bolzano afternoon heat. Plagued by cramps, he made a mistake just before South Tyrol took the lead, but Catanzaro couldn't capitalize on the opportunity. He then made way for Federico Davi.

Molina 6,5 Focused, valuable both defensively and offensively, tactically impeccable. Even under Possanzini, the 34-year-old veteran is an indispensable part of the FCS squad on the right wing.

Rispoli 7,5 FC Südtirol hasn't had such a strong midfielder since Nicolussi Caviglia. At just 19, the new signing, who played for Catanzaro last year, is already the heart, the playmaker, the brains of the team. He provided the assist for the opening goal. He sets the tempo, is dangerous, and also a clinical finisher.

Tronchin 6,5 He did what he does best. And he did it well. Aggressive and tough in challenges. After Pyyhtiä's injury, he's the man alongside Rispoli in the holding midfield role.

Bjarkason 6 He was one of FCS's most noticeable players in the first half, making several forward runs, but sometimes lacked the final touch. A player with his abilities can make the difference in Serie B. His performance dipped after the break. He was substituted for Simone Davi in the closing stages.

Vasco Lopes 5,5 He only showed his class in the final stages of the first half with two strong attacking moves. Until then, he was far too harmless. He certainly has the quality for the second division. He needs to overcome his complacency, otherwise he'll soon lose his starting position.

New signing Okoro still has a lot of room for improvement.

Vasic 6 The same applies to him: he can do better. He had some good moments, especially in combination with Bjarkason, but is still searching for his best form. He hasn't quite found it yet. He left the pitch after 60 minutes.

Okoro 5,5 He's only been in South Tyrol for a week – and it showed. For long stretches, he seemed out of place. His physicality offered little help to his team. Things can only get better. At least, that's what FC Südtirol is hoping. Because Saturday's performance simply wasn't good enough.

Zeroli 7 He came on after an hour and had to settle in first. He didn't manage that immediately. But then he showed what he's capable of with his assist for the second goal. Well done.

Burnete 7 He came off the bench for the third time in three league matches – and this time the Romanian struck. An incredibly important goal. He showed attacking intent and determination in front of goal.

Simone Davi 6 Replaced Bjarkason on the left wing in the final quarter of an hour.

Mixture 7,5 He made his Serie B debut in the 77th minute, played a crucial role in the build-up to the opening goal, and scored the second himself. You can't ask for more. The 22-year-old from Guadeloupe had already scored as a substitute against Catanzaro in the cup match. He now has two goals after just 35 minutes in an FCS shirt. Not bad for a striker who arrived on a free transfer from the French third division.

Federico Davi without note Replaced the damaged Veroli.

Possanzini 6,5 Football is a results-oriented sport. His FCS defeated the play-off finalist. They did everything right.
