FCS ratings: The shoe pinches in attack

Below you will find individual reviews of all FCS professionals – with a particular focus on Salvatore Molina and Frederic Veseli.

Adamonis 7 He made a fantastic save against the onrushing Marco Dalla Vecchia. The fact that Entella still scored from the ensuing corner was therefore doubly bitter for the Lithuanian goalkeeper.

El Kaouakibi 5,5 Basically the best player in FCS's back three. Made a superb save against Davide Bariti after the break. But he didn't look good at all on Dalla Vecchia's big chance. A costly mistake.

Kofler 6 The nimble Luigi Cuppone caused him plenty of problems. He received an early yellow card. He's had better performances, but ultimately managed to cope. He had to come off injured. The score was still 0-0 at that point.

Federico Davi 6 He was again given the nod on the left side of the back three. This time, he wasn't quite as good as in the recent 4-0 thrashing of Reggiana in Reggio Emilia. There were a few lapses in concentration. But the younger of the two Davi brothers didn't make any major errors. He fought hard and also looked to get forward.

Molina 7 The best FCS player on the pitch. Solid both defensively and offensively. He showed no signs of fatigue. Consistency personified. In this form, he could easily play in Serie A.

Crnigoj 6 Ups and downs. Had a few good moments, like the pass to Emanuele Pecorino for the disallowed FCS goal in the first half. But also squandered some promising attacks. Substituted for captain Fabian Tait after 54 minutes.

Tronchin 6 Back in the starting eleven after being rested against Reggiana. He did his job in the holding midfield role – without any major criticism. There wasn't much going forward against the deep-lying and compactly defending visitors from Chiavari. Casiraghi 5,5 Third game in seven days for the attacking midfielder, who ran out of steam as the match progressed. He started well, but his form steadily declined. His set pieces were hardly dangerous this time either. Subbed off late in the game.

Zedadka 5,5 Had a good chance ten minutes before halftime. Overall, though, lacked attacking impetus. We were missing creative moments on the left wing. Subbed off for Simone Davi after 54 minutes.

Pecorino 5 He was just offside when Crnigoj crossed the ball, which is why his goal didn't count. He never really got into the game, though. His interplay with strike partner Silvio Merkaj was also completely ineffective against Virtus Entella.

Merkai 4,5 The player who had been in the best form of recent weeks was a complete failure on Saturday. Even the Albanian striker isn't a machine, but only human. The physical strain after outstanding performances has taken its toll – including on his concentration. From the resulting corner, he allowed Ivan Marconi to score the winning goal for Virtus Entella, making it 1-0.

Simone Davi 5,5 He replaced Karim Zedadka and almost gave South Tyrol the lead with a mishit cross. But he too struggled to create any real attacking pressure.

Tait 5,5:XNUMX They started well, but then their performance declined relatively quickly. When FCS were chasing the deficit, they lacked sharpness and penetration.

Even Simone Verdi could not prevent FCS' defeat.

Joy 4,5 His substitution initiated the defeat. He replaced Raphael Kofler in central defense and immediately made a mistake with his first action. He continued to make errors afterward. A comeback to forget after his injury layoff.

Verdi 5 A backheel flick from Tait – nothing more. Even his free kicks and crosses failed to find their target. Still miles away from decent form.

Tonin without note Arrived in the last few minutes. Remained inconspicuous.

Castori 5 The substitution of Frederic Veseli backfired. "The only thing to do was control the game; Entella never attacked," the FCS coach defended himself. A relapse into old habits.
