FCS player ratings: Major errors in the back line

Adamonis 4,5 Shortly before departing to join the Lithuanian national team, the FCS goalkeeper showed his weakest side. He was caught off guard for the first goal, but he didn't look good at all for the second. A day to forget – but Adamonis needs to improve. He wasn't entirely convincing against Avellino either.

El Kaouakibi 6 The injured Moroccan gritted his teeth for 45 minutes, then he was completely spent. Up until then, it had been a match without any major errors, which couldn't be said of all the FCS defenders yesterday.

Masiello 4 Key errors by the 40-year-old paved the way for Frosinone's victory. He was responsible for the opening goal and bears at least as much blame as Adamonis for the second. A disastrous day for the long-serving Serie A player.

Joy 5,5 Since Kofler's injury, he's been the mainstay in defense. The same can be said for him: it wasn't his best performance. At least the Albanian with Swiss roots was the only defender to last the full 90 minutes.

Federico Davi 6,5 One of the better players in the FCS jersey. First on the right wing, then in the back three – the younger of the two Davi brothers was solid and committed going forward. Even though the defeat hurts, he can build on his performance.

Tait 6:XNUMX A classic "Tait performance" – meaning: a game with high commitment, great willingness to sacrifice, and a high work rate. He wasn't responsible for the brilliant moments, but he handled everything else flawlessly.

Tronchin 6,5 The tenacious midfielder from FCS struggled against Frosinone's strong central defense. But Tronchin proved once again that he thrives in these kinds of matches. He's really good defensively.

Casiraghi 5,5 Two weak shots before halftime, a missed penalty after. It was the first penalty the FCS veteran had missed in Serie B. Luckily for him, Pecorino immediately made amends. Overall, though, one can and should expect more from a man of his qualities. The duel against Calò clearly went to the Frosinone midfielder.

Zedadka 5,5 He was hardworking and a driving force going forward. However, he didn't look good on the third goal. The through ball came into his zone; he should have defended better there.

Emanuele Pecorino scored against his former club.

Pecorino 6,5 A goal against his former club, at least. The Sicilian was recently praised by Castori and demonstrated quick reflexes. He reacted quickest to the rebound from the penalty kick and scored the equalizer.

Merkai 5,5 Barely visible. He hasn't been in the same form he had in February for the last few games. He needs to show more, especially since he already has nine goals this season. No one at FCS has more. However, Pecorino (8) is now very close behind.

Frigerio 6 He put the team first and filled in as a right winger. Not his ideal position, as he's a natural midfielder, but the winter signing acquitted himself admirably.

Crnigoj without a grade Came on for Tait in the final quarter of an hour and did roughly what the FCS captain had done before.

Verdi without a grade With a bit more composure, he could have improved the scoreline. His solo run before the huge chance in stoppage time showed what he's capable of.

Castori 5,5 What can a coach do when his team makes such catastrophic individual errors? The answer: nothing. Frosinone didn't completely dominate FCS, and there was no discernible difference in class. But a team that makes such serious mistakes in Serie B doesn't deserve a single point. FCS is running on fumes before the international break, which comes at just the right time – both in terms of their performance and their physical condition.
