FCS grades: Too few ideas and class

Adamonis 6 The goalkeeper had little to do because Juve Stabia rarely entered the penalty area. He was not at fault for the goal conceded.

El Kaouakibi 5,5 Not yet 100 percent fit and not in the form he was at the start of the season. Solid at the back, but he squandered a golden opportunity in the closing stages.

Pietrangeli 6 Since Kofler's injury and his return, he's once again the defensive leader. At the back, he, like the entire defense, had little to do. Overall, still one of the better players.

Joy 5,5 Unremarkable, as in most other games. Had to leave the field after just under an hour following the introduction of Zedadka.

Molina 6 As active as ever. Tried to drive the game forward down the right flank. His crosses from the right were good, but Pecorino and Merkaj failed to capitalize on them.

Tait 5,5:XNUMX You can't deny the captain's commitment. But the famous spark isn't there anymore, because he doesn't have the physical condition he used to. He had to be substituted due to injury.

Tronchin 5,5 He fought, tackled, and even shot on goal. He tried everything and led the way with great commitment. But in a game like that, his weaknesses in attack become apparent. He's nothing more than a fighter.

Casiraghi 5 He's been chasing his form for months. Casiraghi is a shadow of his former self, even though he was one of the most active players in the early stages. I couldn't understand why he was substituted.

Simone Davi 5,5 Somewhat surprisingly, he started in place of Karim Zedadka and played in the back three after Zedadka's introduction. He was neither here nor there. Before the opposing goal, the Leiferer player blocked the ball for a corner.

Pecorino 5,5 Naturally, you'd expect a player of his caliber to score in a game like that. It didn't look good for the goal they conceded, when Gabrielloni was left completely unmarked.

Merkai 6 He worked like a madman. You can never accuse the Albanian of lacking effort. However, in some situations he lacked class and technical finesse. He squandered too many chances.

Domen Crnigoj scored the equalizer.

Zedadka 6 After being substituted in, he brought new momentum to the left side and provided a perfect assist for the equalizer.

Frigerio 5,5 Came on for Tronchin after about an hour. Remained inconspicuous as usual. He's not the type to go into the penalty area and force a goal.

Verdi 5 Casiraghi was brought on somewhat surprisingly early. He played in his usual midfield position. His shot from around 20 meters went over the bar. Overall, he was a disappointment.

Odogwu 5 He's getting on in years. He squandered a good scoring opportunity miserably after coming on as a substitute. He used to be feared by Serie B defenses.

Fabrizio Castori lacked ideas.

Castori 4,5 For the first time in their Serie B history, FC Südtirol (FCS) will have to play in the relegation playoffs. Castori is partly to blame. The experienced coach showed little flexibility and rigidly stuck to his system. Especially when trailing, the team lacks a clear strategy on the ball. Physicality, effort, and sheer willpower are simply too predictable for opponents these days. He can't be held responsible for his team's profligacy in front of goal, but he is certainly responsible for the long losing streaks this season. FC Südtirol needs a new face on the sidelines, at the latest, for the next season.
