FCS grades: First like a picture-perfect day

Poluzzi 6 Pisa shot at the goal twice and scored twice. Jack Poluzzi was not to blame this time either. But it is slowly becoming really annoying with the goals conceded that are far too easy. Giorgini 5,5 Moved back to the right side of the three-man defense with the comeback of Andrea Masiello. Didn't look good in the 1-1 equalizer - he needs to be more aggressive and determined if he wants to take the next step in his young career as a defender.

Ceppitelli 5 Anyone who thought that FCS had gained a stronger defence by bringing in Ceppitelli for Scaglia has probably overestimated the new signing. The former Serie A professional has still not been able to live up to expectations. He was extremely clumsy when he took a penalty and later lost the duel with substitute Nicholas Bonfanti when Pisa had a chance to counterattack and make it 1-3. Scaglia was definitely better.

Masiello 6 Perhaps Giorgini and Ceppitelli could learn a thing or two from Masiello's determination. That would often be enough to prevent many goals being conceded. His return from injury was one of the good news on Saturday.

Molina 5,5 Started on the right wing, then switched to number ten after Fabian Tait's injury and ducked in. Much better as a wing player.

Arrigoni 6 He also performed well against Pisa, although he was visibly missing his congenial teammate Jasmin Kurtic in the double six. Rover 5,5 The same applies to him: as long as FC Südtirol was working, things were going well for Matteo Rover. After the 1:2, however, the former Inter youth player didn't do enough. He tried, but ultimately didn't play forward enough in the game.

Odogwu 6 He played a major role in Tait's opening goal because he forced the Pisa defender to make a mistake. He was on the pitch until the end and set up Ceppitelli for the last FCS chance.

Simone Davi 5,5 Had to play earlier than planned because Tait was injured after 35 minutes. The Leiferer should have been slowly introduced back to the intensive rhythm of the game after his ankle injury. He is not yet at 100 percent.

Martinis 5,5 The strong pass before the huge chance for Merkaj, but also a lot of mistakes. He lacks match practice.

Merkai 5 Missed the chance to make it 2-2 when he was alone in front of Semper.

Crespi without a grade He certainly posed a goal threat after his late substitution, but was ultimately unlucky.

After the 1:2, however, the hoped-for reaction was not forthcoming for a long time. It was only in the finish, with the courage of desperation, that they got chances.
