Consequences for Meran: Sampdoria has to pay, but has a women's team
Financial problems are the order of the day in Italian football. Just a few days ago, Serie B club Reggina was finally transferred to amateur football. Another second division team, Sampdoria, has agreed on a debt settlement with the tax office. The club also announced that the Sampdoria Women had been saved - which has an impact on the best South Tyrolean women's football team.
